Don’t rush! Walk patiently, carefully and enjoying the entire route.

The Hail Joseph is a prayer created by Fernando Rielo, founder of the Id Institute of Christ the Redeemer, in 2002. With ecclesiastical licence from the Diocese of Madrid (2021). The first part, in the style of the «Hail Maria», is inspired by Gospel texts. What is important in the second part is the title given by Fernando Rielo to St. Joseph: Mystical Father of God. St Joseph has, together with Mary, the supplicant omnipotence which Christ bestowed on the purity of his faith.

DO YOU KNOW THAT THIS YEAR 2021 IS JACOBEAN?

It is a very special date. The Jacobean (or Xacobeo) year, also known as the Holy Year or Jubilee Year, is celebrated every year in which the Day of the Apostle Santiago (July 25) falls on a Sunday , as established by Pope Callisto II in the year 1126, coinciding with the laying of the last stone of the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela. This fact allows the pilgrims who visit the tomb of the Apostle in the Cathedral of Santiago to obtain the plenary indulgence or the forgiveness of all sins .

As a curiosity, the Jacobean year is usually celebrated about 14 times each century. This occasion will also be a unique opportunity… Why? Due to the pandemic, for the first time, the Jacobean Year 2021 is also extended until 2022, as announced by Pope Francis after the opening of the Holy Door.

The Institute Id of Christ the Redeemer, Idente Missionaries, is an institute of consecrated life of pontifical right, founded by Fernando Rielo Pardal on June 29, 1959, in Tenerife (Spain). Its charism is to live holiness by means of an ascetic and mystical examination in common. Its apostolic mission is directed above all to the encounter with the youth and dialogue with the intellectual world to defend the revealed truth. The charism is based on three evangelical principles:

1. The call to holiness: “Be holy as your Heavenly Father is holy” (Mt 5,48);
2. The promotion of community life: “Where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them” (Mt 18,20).
3. The priority dedication to the evangelizing mission: “Go into all the world and proclaim the good news to all creation” (Mk 16,15).
